PES holds 53rd Annual Meeting

The Philippine Economic Society (PES) successfully held its 53rd Annual Meeting on November 10, 2015 at Hotel Intercontinental Manila. The conference, which focused on the theme “The Philippines in Transition: Structural Reforms for Sustained and Inclusive Growth,” was attended by some 400 participants.  Keynote and plenary speakers included Dr. Ganeshan Wignaraja of the Asian Development Bank, Sec. Arsenio Balisacan of the National Economic and Development Authority, Mr. Romeo Bernardo of Global Source Partners, Dr. Shanaka Jayanath Peiris of the International Monetary Fund, and Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales. The conference featured 16 parallel sessions which tackled the overall theme of the conference as well as specific areas of the economy. <view presentations>
